Can I just say how happy Jesse and I are that the sun has been shining!!! Warm weather always brings smiles to our faces!! Here are a few things we have been up to!

April Happenings!

Wow April has been crazy!! I know I always say that but this month has been nuts! Easter was great we did all the usual things, Skeet Shooting, Eating, Candy, BBQ's, Family get togethers. We went to a family friends ranch and celebrated a Greek Easter as well. Which was alot of fun, and not much different then any other Easter, Shooting, Food and Family! Except this food was obviously Greek! A lot of things have been happening in our families. We have a ton of babies coming this year, My little sis is getting married, and Jesse's little Bro is getting married, sadly a divorce in the fam, no not me & Jess, Softball is starting, and Jesse and I are planning a SWEET vacation this summer!!! A little hint, our theme for the vacation is Rock N Roll!!! I cant wait! Other then that life is still great and we are happy as ever!!!

Old Friends=Good Times!

Yesterday I went to lunch with some girlfriends from high school. Brittany was able to be in town for a wedding from Ohio and Ashley came up from Cedar City! Whitney was also there with her adorable kids!! These girls have always been the best friends to me and have always kept in touch with me, I am so grateful to have friends like these!!! Thank you girls for a great lunch and for all the good times!!! LOVE YOU!!!

Flowers from my Sweet husband on Valentines Day!

So I think its time for a new post!! Two weeks ago of course was Valentines day! It was FABULOUS!! The first year Jesse and I were together we tried going out to eat, never again. There was a 6 hour wait at OUTBACK, so after that we decided never to go out to eat on V-day again. So we did what we do best, BBQed! We cooked my favorite, Kabobs, and Jesses favorite crab salad with fruit on the side!! SOOOO good, then for desseret we did a chocolate fountain and had friends stop in when they wanted dessert! It was a blast! My cute husband got me roses, and a singing balloon! It was delivered the day before to work, so everyone got a kick out of it! A few days after that was my Birthday! Yes I am a quarter of a century old......25!! It feels good, so far I am liking being 25. Jesse and I both took the day off and headed to Salt Lake to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, of course! Then Jesse let me go shopping! He started getting tired, especially after a big dinner, so while I was flyin through Tai Pan he was taking a nap in the truck!! What a cutie!! Last weekend we went to Goodwood with my family for my B-day dinner, and then Sunday Jesse's Mom cooked me a Fabulous dinner! I felt really bad though because she worked so hard on dinner and dessert, and I got sick that afternoon. It SUCKED, I was sick from Sunday to Friday, and missed the week of work. I truly have the sweetest husband in the world, he was so great while I was sick, he took a few days off work to stay with me, and did everything around the house that needed to be done, I didn't even ask. I love you Honey!! Being sick was horrible though, my fever was at 103 and would drop to 100 but I couldn't seem to get lower then that until Thursday, Yes MISERABLE, we're not sure what it was, just a bad virus, I haven't been that sick, EVER. I am feeling much better now and I am hoping Jesse doesn't catch it.

What a fun weekend!!! Some of the girls from high school decided we needed a girls night and went to dinner together!! Courtney, who we haven't seen in years came down and it made my night!! We were best friends for years!! It was so much fun hanging out together, I miss her lots and wished she lived closer! It was so much fun catching up and chattin about old times we used to have a blast together! Girls night needs to be a once a month thing!!! Also this weekend my little sister Jennifer got ENGAGED!!! Whop whop I am so excited!!! She is the youngest in the fam and the last one to be married!! How weird all of us married, how time flies! Jeff is a great guy and fits the family perfect!!! Congrats to Jennifer and Jeff, I can't wait for the wedding this summer!!! I Love you guys!!

One of those days.... ?really?

I sure hope other people have one of those days, you know where nothing goes right and everything drives you batty, the day just will not end and all you want to do is take a muscle relaxer, get in your comfy sweats crawl into your hubby's arms, lock all the doors, turn off your phone, eat a bag of Juju hearts and fall asleep watching Dances with Wolves? Yesterday was that day, for me anyway! So here is how it started off, I woke up late, had to cut my workout at the gym short only to wait in line for a treadmill/bike/elliptical because all of the "new years resolutions" newbies decided to load them up I give them props for starting but our gym just needs to expand, so because those were full I ran out to my car and grabbed my jump rope....couldn't find a spot to do that either, the place was packed, its 5:30 in the morning!!!! WHAT THE?, I find a small spot in the corner hoping to not hit anyone with the rope, only to have a TRAINER come and move me because he needs the "SPACE"(whole nother story he was not nice) so I left, went home to get ready for the day, started by making a protein shake-blender breaks, tried to make some eggs -milk went sour and my cheese went bad, trust me, first bite, dry heaved, so I am pretty upset by this time. Showered, started to do my makeup but for some reason I had to sneeze at the exact same moment I put mascara on... if anyone has done this, they know what happens, not pretty, there is no way to keep your eyes open while sneezing trust me, and I don't sneeze lightly, so I had to wash it off and start over, then I started on my hair, which needed to be washed and my roots were showing horrendously bad, but I was short one time & needless to say it wouldn't style worth a damn, no matter what I did, it looked ridiculous it just wouldn't work with me. I am so frustrated by this time I slammed by cabinet door closed and of course.....can you guess what happened? It busted, yes my brand new cabinets. I am thinking to my self, its 7 in the freaking morning, how is it possible I could have this bad of a morning? So all I can do is say "really?" and went to work. The rest of the day was just as bad and didn't end until about 9 that night.

So here is the question, when that kind of a day starts happening, what do you do? How do you turn it around and make it stop, even after you have tried changing your attitude, location, clothes, appetite, whatever and all hope is lost, how do you stop that kind of a day? It seems to me that every now and again everyone gets hit with a crazy day, and I was doing really good for a long time, and BAM. Random post, but sometimes you just have to let it all out!!! Nothin but Craziness!

Happy New Year!!! Its been a few weeks since my last post, and I thought I would let everyone know we are still alive :) !! Jesse and I have been so busy this year and its only the middle of January!! Life has been great for us, the start of a new year is always a great time to reset your self and start over. We have been busy working on our WAY to many New Years resolutions and we can't seem to shorten our list, so its keeping us busy! Work is great for both Jesse and I, we are starting to get really busy in our jobs, which is good considering alot of people are slowing down! We were both sick for about a week at the beginning of the month, but thankfully thats gone! We got ourselves a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, I love it!!! Yes I got rid of the G6 it was fun, but I like the Jeep better, and of course I had to get the raspberry red to match Jesse's truck!! I am so weird, but it is my favorite color. Life has been crazy the past few weeks, I am hoping things will slow down for a little R&R, but we'll see! Anyway Happy 2009!!!!

Holidays!

Wow I can't believe Christmas is over already, and that 2009 is only 3 days away, where did this year go!?! Christmas was fabulous as always! Since our families live so close, we were able to see everyone! On Christmas eve we ate dinner at the Steiners, my sister Chantel and her family were here from California, and then later that night we headed up to Grandma Wheelers to see Santa! Christmas day was great!!! Jesse and I got up when we wanted, watched an episode of House (we are obsessed), and then opened gifts! So relaxing!!! For breakfast we headed to the Wheelers and hung out with the family most of the day, and then that night we headed to the Steiners to play games and watch movies. Christmas night we were up way late because the weather decided to dump a foot of snow in an hour. Where we live we get hit hard, making shoveling snow a daily task. It was so bad Jesses truck couldn't get on the driveway. Jesse started shoveling, but the snow was falling faster then he could clear it, so we got the snowblower out. It was late and we didn't want to get it out because it is so loud, oh well, sorry neighbors!! Christmas break was awesome, and Jesse and I are so blessed to be so loved by our families and friends! What a great time of the year to reflect on what is most important! We hope everyone had a magical Christmas, and we wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Anniversary in Hawaii!

Our 3 yr anniversary was on December 2, so to celebrate we went to Hawaii!!! I have always wanted to go and I am always telling Jesse, lets just go, so we did! It was a blast, getting there was scary, we had a delayed flight and then a canceled flight and then a medical emergency while over the pacific ocean, but once we got there it was fantastic! My older sister was there with her family for a while so we went and stayed with them! We did so much while we were there, we got to go to the Laie temple, the Polynesian Cultural Center, a Luau, snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, body surfing, relaxing on the beach, it was a week in Heaven!!!
