On Saturday my parents, Jesse & I went up to the Body Worlds exhibit. This thing is fascinating! I absolutely loved it! God did an indescribable miracle when he created our bodies! I have always known how awe-inspiring our bodies are, but to see and hear all of the micro details of how things run inside of us was astounding. I know everyone has their views and opinions, some don't think its right that a persons body is on display like art, however my personal opinion is, these people donate their bodies to science and this is what science gives us, so why not? What a blessing it was to learn so much more about whats going on inside of us, how we horde off disease, grow hair, how much blood is pumped through our bodies each day all because of our hearts, what smoking's toll really does to the inside of you, what cancer looks like, the amazing change of a fetus from 10 weeks to 20 weeks, what an obese person looks like from the inside, the amazing structure of muscles and tendons under the adipose tissue and skin, how a person can actually die of a lonely heart!! I could go on and on about this amazing structure we carry around everyday. I strongly suggest if you have not seen this exhibit, GO!! You will not be disappointed. Go and learn about what God has given us, it makes you want to take better care of yourself, not just physically but emotionally as well. Believe it or not emotion has a strong power of how your body functions!! What a blessing to have a body this extraordinary!!

We also saw these guys there! This is a guy and a girl and from the brain down the back was extracted out to see whats inside. These guys are called Plastinates. Plastination is a technique to preserve bodies or body parts. The fat and water are replaced by certain plastics, yielding specimens that can be touched, do not smell or decay, and retain most microscopic properties of the original sample! Pretty cool!

We also stopped at the Cheesecake Factory to eat!!

Me & Jesse, do we look full? How can you not stuff yourself there?
